Personal Project Management

Everything you need to know about the Personal Project Management community

About

Developing projects are a constant feature of life, whether it's planning a round the world trip, building a holiday home, running a marathon or starting a new hobby. Gaining an understanding of how to manage projects can help us to not only meet our day to day challenges but also enrich our lives in the private and public sphere. Participating in the sessions will help you to get started, build a strong foundation and create systems to engage with your personal investigation. There will also be an emphasis on developing the emotional and reflective habits to accompany task management and cognitive side of achieving your goals. Applying skills and new understandings to the outcome or product and exhibiting and celebrating achievements will feature in the sessions.

Meet Your Hosts

Jason Ward

Originally from Sheffield but has lived and worked outside the UK since 1996. Attracted to international education through a desire to travel the world. He imagined spending his 30’s in South America, his 40’s in Asia and 50’s in Africa. It didn’t work out like that but his international journey has taken him to Colombia, Peru, Spain, Malta, Ukraine, China and Indonesia where he currently resides with his family. Jason believes that projects are transformative and help students to personalise their learning experience and his favorite day in the school year is listening to students talk about their personal projects.

Sam Rajesh

Sam Rajesh is the Head of Sciences and K–12 Innovation Coordinator at ISD. He is dedicated to empowering students to explore, create, and achieve their goals through meaningful learning experiences. Sam supports students in developing essential skills such as critical thinking, problem-solving, collaboration, and time management, while encouraging them to take ownership of their learning. Passionate about hands-on projects and innovation, he enjoys guiding students as they tackle challenges, discover new ideas, and grow both academically and personally, preparing them for success in school and beyond.
